Finish what I had to for now. The washroom still needs the subfloor, toilet and sink. And also there is the suspended ceiling which will be done much later in the future.
After positioning the shower back and forth for I dunno how many times, it finally in place. Let's see what went wrong: Walls were to small, so I had to make it wider. Shower had to be raised, the drain connection sticks out an inch higher. And I forgot to place a support backing for the shower handle! (DoH!) For the rest, 2 more layers of joint compound needs to be applied and then primer paint can be put on. There are 3 doors that needs to be put up too and a closet door. Slowly but surely it will be done. Hopefully before William's Birthday, so we can have it there!
This is a video capture of the little munchkin using his flappers;)

I have been working on my basement during my parental leave. Hopefully I can get most of it done before I go back to work. And I hope it will be ready by William's birthday. :) What was needed:120 2x4's, 6 2x4x12, 8 2x4x1016 2x2's400 3" nails 65 2.5" power nails 120 2.5" wood screws 1 large roll of 6mm vapor barrier 6 large bags of R12 insulation 40 drywalls 2000 drywall screws 260' 14/2 NMD wire 100' 12/2 NMD wire 36' of copper pipe 2 doors1 shower 1 toilet & sink1.5 bruised thumb 1 helpful hand from my wife :)
