Life Drawing in Laval

Festival de Peinture a Mascouche 2008

This thankgiving long weekend is the 20th edition of the Festival de Peinture a Mascouche (October 11,12 and 13). Over 150 artists from amateur to professional will be showcasing their works. Although I wont be a part of the artists showing this year, I will try to do some painting on location over there on Saturday or Monday. Come see me and other artists from all over Quebec and Canada. l'Oktoberfest des Quebecois 2008

I went to paint with some follow artists over the past weekend at the 3rd Oktoberfest des Quebecois held in Mascouche, Quebec. We were there to promote for the festival de peinture a Mascouche which is coming up soon on the Thanksgiving weekend in October. It was an afternoon of painting and drinking. lol. Here are some pictures of the event.

One day workshop for portrait drawing - September 14, 2008 Sunday (beginner - advance) Workshop covers portrait sketching start to finish in charcoal. (6 spaces available, cost $30) Please contact josefsy@sympatico.ca

One day workshop for portrait oil painting - October 19, 2008 Sunday (advance) Workshop covers using a limited palette, from preparation, initial sketch, lay in, modeling to final touches. (6 spaces available, cost $35) Please contact josefsy@sympatico.ca

Basic/ portrait drawing - October 2008 date to be announced . (beginner- advance) 8 sessions of 3 hrs cost $120 (sessions are every 2 weeks Tuesday 7-10 pm) Instruction will be adjusted on participant's level. Please contact josefsy@sympatico.ca
